ENTERPRISE: How do I find people and search the database?

Edited

This article is for Enterprise users who want to learn how to search the Staff Me Up database to find qualified candidates for their projects. We'll cover how to use search filters and how to understand your connections to people in the results.

How do I search the database?

You can find people by using filters for position, location, and more. Follow these steps to search our database:

  1. Click on the Hire button at the top left corner to navigate to Enterprise.

  2. On the left-hand side of the Enterprise menu, click on the People tab.

  3. Under Find People, you can quickly search our database and sort based on various filters including position, location, genre and more.

  4. Search results will include profiles for your review. You can click into each profile for an expanded view of credits and additional information without losing your place.

What does "How You're Connected" mean?

As you come across profiles, you’ll notice that some people have "How You’re Connected" underneath their name. Here's what that means:

  • They are connected to you because you share credits from the same productions.

  • It is helpful for you to add credits to your own profile so that more connections appear.

  • The full names, productions, and positions that were held by each mutual connection are displayed to make reference checking easier.

To view your connection history:

  1. Click on the link to see how you’re connected.

  2. View the shared history.
