JOB POSTER: Why are my applicants in the pass folder?
This article explains why an applicant may have been filtered to your PASS folder and what you can do about it.
Reasons an Applicant is Filtered to the PASS Folder
The PASS folder is where applicants who do not meet all the specified requirements for your job posting are automatically moved. There are two main reasons an applicant may be automatically filtered to your PASS folder:
They do not meet the location requirements. For example, if your listing requires a local candidate, anyone who lives more than 80 miles away from the job location is asked, "Your home location is more than 80 miles away from this job, can you work as a local?" If the applicant answers "No," they are filtered to your PASS folder.
They answer "No" to a qualifying question. If you include any qualifying (yes/no) questions on your listing to find candidates, and an applicant answers "No" to one of them, they will be filtered to your PASS folder.
Reviewing an Applicant in the PASS Folder
When you want to review an applicant in the PASS folder, follow these steps:
Navigate to the PASS tab.
Select the applicant you wish to review.
If you decide you would like to move the applicant to your Shortlist folder, simply click on the "Shortlist" button on their application profile.
