APPLICANT: Can I Flag a Listing?

Edited

This article is for Staff Me Up applicants and explains how to flag a suspicious job posting to ensure a safe and fair environment for all our users. If you are ever unsure about the legitimacy of a job offer, you can report it to us or flag the listing through the platform.

How to Flag a Job Posting

If you come across a listing that you believe should not be on Staff Me Up, you can flag it directly from the job's page.

  1. For the job posting you want to flag, click on the “flag” icon located on the far right,  just above the “Apply Now” button.

  2. A pop-up will appear with a pull-down list. Select the reason you are flagging the listing, or choose “OTHER” to enter your own reason.

  3. Click the SUBMIT button. Our team will review the flagged listing.

Safety Tips for Job Applicants

Staff Me Up verifies all job posters to ensure you feel confident applying to legitimate positions. Here are some tips to help you stay safe during your job search:

  • NEVER give out your bank information via email to anyone.

  • NEVER accept advance checks from companies you have applied to online.

  • Be cautious of emails where the domain does not match the company's official website. Scammers may pose as real companies and direct you to legitimate websites, but their email address might have a slight spelling difference.

  • A legitimate company will typically provide a direct deposit form in person on your start date, and will not request it in advance via email.
