APPLICANT: How Can I Update Photos on my Profile?

This article is for Applicants on Staff Me Up. It provides a complete guide to managing your profile images, including technical requirements for uploads, step-by-step instructions for updating your profile and cover photos, and how to check your file size.

To successfully upload a photo, please ensure it meets the following criteria:

• File Size: The image must be under 2MB. Photos larger than 2MB will not upload. 

• Dimensions: For the best results, use an image with an aspect ratio of 1010 pixels (width) by 250 pixels (height). 

   

1. The first thing you'll need to do is to navigate to your profile. This option will be listed on the left side Navigation Menu.

2. Click the pencil icon on your profile photo to edit or change the photo.

3. After clicking the pencil icon, you can browse through your device for your new photo. After selecting the image, click "Open".

4. Next, you can edit and crop the photo to your liking. When finished editing your profile photo, click "Save."

2. Once at your profile, click on the small pencil icon at the top right of the Header Photo.

3. There, you can search through your device for your desired photo.

4. Once you've selected the photo, you will be taken to a confirmation window. If all looks good, click "SAVE." 

    

You can easily check a photo's size on your computer before you try to upload it.

1. First, locate the photo on your computer and click on it once to highlight it.

2. With the file selected, press "Command + i" on your keyboard.

3. A new information window will appear. The file's size is displayed near the top, to the right of the name. 

1. Find the file, right-click on it, and select "View properties" from the menu.

2. Alternatively, you can click the file once and press "Alt + Enter" on your keyboard.

3. The file's properties window will open, showing you the size of the file.
